Job summary

Biffa is seeking an LGV Driver Loader in the United Kingdom. You will drive LGV waste collection vehicles, collect and empty bins, boxes and bags from householders, and carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.

This working pattern runs Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with shifts from 05:30 to 15:00. The pay is £19.87 per hour, equating to about £43,912 per year, with on-the-job training and access to Biffa Perkz.

Qualifications

• Experience driving LGV vehicles is preferred.
• Ability to perform outdoor manual tasks and basic vehicle duties.
• Capable of working as part of a crew and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV waste collection vehicles and collect/empty household bins, boxes and bags.
• Carry out street cleansing activities such as sweeping and litter picking.
• Work with a team, showing initiative and supporting daily operations.
