Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Level 7 theory lessons, practical demonstrations and supervised learning sessions within your area of competence.
• Guide learners in applying knowledge to consultation, treatment planning, safe practice and aftercare.
• Assess practical competence, written work and portfolio evidence against qualification requirements, recording clear assessment decisions.
• Provide constructive feedback and outline next steps to address gaps in knowledge or technique.
• Maintain accurate learner progress and assessment records; support quality assurance to ensure standards.
• Contribute to lesson resources, assessment planning and standardisation discussions.
• Keep subject knowledge and teaching practice current through ongoing professional development.

From £40,000 per year

£55,000 OTE, or £300 per day

Salaried option: starting salary from £40,000 per year, with on-target earnings (OTE) of £55,000. OTE includes performance-related earnings and is not a guaranteed base salary. Alternatively, a day-rate option of £300 per day is available. These are alternative pay arrangements; the structure and working pattern will be discussed at interview.

• Keep your subject knowledge, practical skills and teaching practice current through ongoing professional development.

What you'll bring

• A regulated Level 7 qualification. This is essential; include the qualification title and awarding organisation in your application.
• Relevant teaching and assessing qualifications, with the ability to plan learning and make clear, evidence-based assessment decisions.
• Practical expertise and occupational competence in the subject areas and procedures you would teach and assess.
