Project Control Apprentice

Location: Macclesfield, UK

Starting base salary £24,570 + 11% benefit fund + 8% bonus

Responsibilities
  • Manage the time and cost of the project delivery, ensuring projects stay within defined budget and schedule limits.
  • Support risk and scope management to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Deliver key tasks under the guidance of experienced project practitioners and experience all roles and aspects of an engineering project.
  • Plan, capture, report, coordinate and support the governance process during meetings and manage associated documentation in line with sponsor/owner requirements.
Training and Development

AstraZeneca will sponsor you through your Level 6 Project Controls Professional qualification at London Metropolitan College. The apprenticeship combines full‑time salary with fully funded part‑time college learning (about one day per week), giving you the opportunity to gain a Level 6 qualification while gaining work‑life skills and contributing to new medicines.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSE (or equivalent) grades 9 to 4, including English and Mathematics.

Minimum of 3 A levels at CCC (96 UCAS points) or above, or equivalent.

A relocation package is offered to assist with costs and process for applicants currently living more than 60 minutes from the site.
