Job summary

Dr Ana The Skin Clinic in Edgbaston, Birmingham, is seeking an Aesthetic Practitioner / Advanced Skin Therapist (Level 5+) to join our luxury clinic. The role supports advanced skin, laser, energy-based and aesthetic treatments, with both full-time and part-time options and flexible hours, including Saturdays.

We require a Level 5 qualification and at least 2 years of doctor-led clinic experience, plus exceptional patient-focused care and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 5 qualification in Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics or an equivalent advanced skin qualification
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a doctor-led aesthetic/skin clinic
• Experience carrying out advanced skin and aesthetic treatments
• Excellent knowledge of skin, treatment protocols, contraindications and patient safety
• Excellent consultation and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• High standards of clinical documentation and record keeping

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed patient consultations and skin assessments
• Deliver advanced skin and aesthetic treatments to a high clinical standard
• Create appropriate treatment plans
• Work closely with doctors and wider clinical team
• Provide a seamless five-star patient journey
• Take high-quality clinical photographs and treatment documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide post-treatment advice
• Monitor patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Maintain infection-control and clinical-safety standards
