Overview

Level 3 Teaching Assistants x 2 Fixed term to August 2026 16.5 and 16 hours per week respectively - Term time only (work pattern for each post below) Scale 3, Point 5 - £13.26 per hour

The Governors and staff of this highly successful school are seeking to appoint two experienced, effective and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistants.

Responsibilities
  • The successful applicants will have demonstrated the ability to positively impact on infant children\'s learning and progress, particularly in the core subjects of literacy, numeracy and phonics.
  • They will be able to effectively cover a range of classes and consistently demonstrate high expectations for all.
  • They will be positive at all times, caring and supportive of all children, with a proactive approach and a willingness to develop professionally.
  • The successful applicants will have demonstrated the ability to support pupils with special educational needs and encourage them to participate fully in school life and stay safe.
Work pattern

The work pattern of the first post is 8.45 am - 3.15 pm Monday and Tuesday and 8.45 am - 12.15 pm on Wednesday. The work pattern for the second post is 12.15 - 3.15 pm on Wednesday and 8.45 am - 3.15 pm on Thursday and Friday.

As this role is in regulated activity it also requires checks under the Childcare Disqualification Regulations and Childcare Act 2006.
