Job summary

Djanogly Strelley Academy, part of the Tapestry Learning Partnership, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 3 to support pupils with learning and wellbeing throughout the school day. The role involves working with individuals and groups, assisting with routines, and helping pupils access learning safely and with dignity.

You will work closely with teaching and SEN staff to promote inclusion and safeguarding, contributing to high-quality teaching and a nurturing school environment.

Qualifications

• Supports pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day.
• Works with individuals or small groups to reinforce lesson content and behaviour.
• Assists with classroom routines, prepares resources and monitors pupils’ wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs, promoting independence and inclusion.
• Provide personal care where required and support learning access with dignity.
• Work with teaching and SEN staff to safeguard pupils and support their emotional development.
