Job summary

Hays Education is partnering with a specialist SEN school in Rugby to recruit a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school supports children with autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties, providing a nurturing environment where pupils can thrive.

You will support pupils in and out of the classroom, deliver interventions, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and work closely with teachers to help learners achieve their targets.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or young people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A patient, proactive and resilient approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience within SEN, education, care or support settings is desirable.

Your new role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them engage with learning, develop independence and achieve their individual targets. You will work closely with teachers to deliver interventions, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to secure a long-term role within a specialist SEN setting.
