Blackmoor Park Infants' School in Grimsby is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who also covers lunchtime as a Mid-Day Assistant. The role involves planning and delivering lessons with a class teacher and supporting pupils with complex learning or pastoral needs during class hours.

At lunchtime, the focus is pupil welfare, safety and behaviour, with basic first aid. It is term-time only at 22.5 hours per week, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver lessons alongside a class teacher.
• Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom where children feel safe and valued.
• Assess children's progress.
• Support pupils with complex learning and pastoral needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents on each child's development.
• Supervise children in the hall, playground and other areas at lunchtime.
• Ensure the welfare, safety and good behaviour of all children at lunchtime.
• Support positive play, social skills and personal needs.
• Help pupils with meals and promote healthy eating.
• Administer basic first aid and report incidents under school procedures.
