Job summary

St Edward's Church of England Primary School and Nursery is seeking a fixed-term, part-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with the class teacher, supporting pupils and helping them reach their potential during term time until August 2027.

Job description

A fixed-term, part-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant post at St Edward's Church of England Primary School and Nursery, running term time until August 2027. The role works alongside the class teacher to manage pupils and the classroom, helping children learn and reach their potential, and delivering well-being interventions. The school is an inclusive one within St Christopher's Trust, and experience of relational approaches and of running interventions such as Emotional Logic or Colourful Semantics would be valued. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check is required.

• Work in partnership with the class teacher to manage pupils and the classroom
• Help pupils learn and reach their full potential
• Deliver interventions for children, including well-being interventions
• Set high expectations and manage the behaviour of all pupils
• Create and maintain a purposeful learning environment
