Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or similar role.
• Experience working with students with challenging behaviour and SEN.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons.
• Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Offer reading and writing support to students who require additional assistance.

Skills

Strong understanding of young people with behavioural difficulties and SEN

Excellent behavioural management skills

Ability to effectively manage a classroom environment

Familiarity with alternative provisions and specialist schools
