Job description

Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Location: Stockton

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am till 3.30pm

Pay Rate: 90 to 110 per day

Do you want to make a real difference in children's education?

Empowering Learning are working with multiple schools in the Stockton area and are looking for experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work within Primary School settings across all key stages.

Due to a recent high demand in Teaching Assistant placements in Schools across the area for 1:1 SEN support and general classroom support we are urgently recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants, who have recent experience of working with pupils in Primary School settings.

Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote the social and emotional development of students, fostering their confidence and independence.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.
Requirements
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 is essential).
  • Experience in working within a Primary School setting.
  • Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Caring and compassionate approach towards students.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
