An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Pre‑School Practitioner to join the dedicated team at St John’s Pre‑School. We are passionate about delivering safe, nurturing care and providing stimulating learning experiences that help every child thrive.

• A full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification is essential.
• Experience working in early years settings preferred.

Approximately 26 hours per week, term time only.

Between the hours of:

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8.00 – 12.30
• Tuesday, Friday: 8.00 – 15.30

Salary is competitive; April 2026 salary will be reviewed in line with the new national living wage. Our staff benefit from excellent support and ongoing professional development.

St John’s Pre‑School plays a special role in the local community as part of St John’s Church, Wimborne. We work closely with St John’s CE First School, all of which share the same site. The successful candidate will be expected to foster these established partnerships and be sympathetic to our clear Christian ethos.
