Job summary

Magisters is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Assistant for an independent school in West Kensington (W14). This temp-to-perm role offers 7:30am–3:30pm or 10:00am–6:00pm shifts on a rotating basis, with ASAP start. Salary £150 per day / £20 per hour and excellent transport links are provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous nursery or Early Years setting experience.
• Confident working with babies and toddlers aged 0–3.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support the care, learning and development of children aged 0–3.
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
• Support children's play and early learning activities.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, personal care and sleep routines.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Observe and support children's individual development and progress.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and welfare procedures.
