Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well‑being of young children.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality care and education to children aged 0‑5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that support children’s learning and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Observe and assess children’s progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
  • Ensure the safety and well‑being of all children in your care at all times.
  • Collaborate with other practitioners to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Support the management team in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and nursery policies.
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare (Level 2 or Level 3).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
