Job summary

KPi Education is seeking three Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join an Outstanding-rated nursery in Howe Green, Essex. These long-term or permanent roles offer 40 hours per week with potential for part-time options and shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

Pay is £16 per hour and the annual salary is £33,280. You will deliver high-quality childcare aligned with EYFS, support children's development, and build strong relationships with families while receiving ongoing training and progression

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and requirements.
• Ability to plan and deliver activities supporting early learning.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient and flexible approach to caring for young children.

What Will the Role Involve?

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will help create an environment where children feel secure, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Delivering high-quality childcare in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Organising fun, educational activities that encourage children's curiosity and creativity.
• Observing children's progress and supporting their individual learning goals.
• Helping children develop communication, social interaction and independence.
• Providing personal care and assisting with daily routines where required.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and positive environment for children to explore and learn.
• Developing strong relationships with parents and carers to support children's progress.
• Working closely with other practitioners to ensure consistent, high standards of care.
• Recognising and responding to the different needs, abilities and interests of each child.

Applicants should have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years or a relevant equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare environment.
• A good working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and its requirements.
• Confidence in preparing and delivering activities that support early learning.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A patient, positive and flexible approach to caring for young children.
• The ability to build professional and trusting relationships with families.
• An understanding of children's health, safety, welfare and personal care requirements.
• A genuine interest in helping young learners build confidence and develop essential life skills.
