Job summary

Banana Moon Franchise is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to provide lunch cover five days a week. You will support children and the nursery team during lunchtimes, helping with meals, routines, play and learning in a warm, nurturing setting.

Ideal candidates have Level 3 EY qualification, good communication and a caring, reliable approach. Lunchtime hours run 11:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is essential.
• Experience in an early years/nursery setting is desirable.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children during lunchtime.
• Support children with mealtimes and daily routines.
• Promote children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Work closely with nursery team to maintain a safe environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies.
