Job summary

Dragonfly Nursery is offering a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. The programme develops knowledge, skills and behaviours for working in childcare settings under teacher guidance, with involvement in supporting children’s education and development.

Apprentices will work with individuals or small groups, create learning resources, monitor progress and report to teachers. A DBS check is required, and blended learning with practical and online components is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning activities with individuals or small groups.
• Ability to write reports and keep clear and accurate records.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills with children and parents.
• Good organizational skills and administrative abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities with individuals or small groups.
• Assist in developing varying skills that support pupils' learning.
• Produce learning resources and supervise pupils as needed.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and developmental needs.
• Report pupil progress to the teacher and follow school policies.
