Level 3 Early Years Childcare Practitioner Required in our footprints@kingskids After School Club

Hours: 15 hours per week, Sefton term time only – (Monday to Friday 3pm to 6pm)

Permanent Position; Pay £14.57 per hour inclusive of annual leave allowance

We have an exciting opportunity to lead our Kings Kids after school club team! We are seeking to appoint a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team and support the younger children attending the after‑school club, working closely alongside our experienced Lead Playworker.

This post is term‑time only, following Sefton term dates, and involves working 3pm–6pm (3 hours per day). There may also be opportunities for additional hours within the Footprints Nursery for two‑year‑olds.

You will help with ensuring the requirements of Ofsted and the welfare requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage are met and have experience working in an early years or after school environment.

The purpose of the role is to:

  • Protect and promote the health and well‑being of children.
  • Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Promote positive relationships.
  • Support children’s learning and development through play.
  • Be a ‘key person’ to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families.

The successful applicants will meet the person specification. An enhanced DBS and other checks will be undertaken. At least Level 3 Diploma in Early Years or equivalent is required
