Job Details

Hours of Work: 30 hours per week

Working Hours: 08:50am to 03:20pm Monday to Friday – Term time 38 weeks plus an additional week to be agreed by the Head teacher

Start Date: As soon as possible and until July 2027

Salary: £17,901 to £18,186 pro rata

Band: LG Band 3, Points 5-6, under 5 years’ service

Role Overview

Imperial Avenue is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic temporary Teaching Assistant to work with SEND children.

Responsibilities
  • Support the learning and development of children with special needs on a 1-1 basis and small group basis.
  • Work cross phase Foundation stage/Key Stage 1.
  • Carry out lunchtime duties.
Qualifications
  • Motivated, experienced and resourceful person.
  • Experience working with children with ASD an advantage.
  • Qualified to a good level of educational qualifications.
