Overview

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a primary school based in Milnrow, Greater Manchester.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting children in a primary school setting who is passionate about making a positive impact in education.

Contract / Position Details

• Location: Milnrow, Greater Manchester
• Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
• Type of work: Supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, assisting with small group activities, and providing one-to-one support as needed
• Start date: September 2025
• Duration: 1-term contract (with potential for extension)
• End date: End of Autumn Term (Term 1)
• Contract type: Temporary
• Full time/Part time: Full time
• Pay rate: Dependent on experience and pay scale
• Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Previous experience working in a primary school (KS1 or KS2 preferred)

• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Eligibility

• Have the right to work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
