A local educational institution in Pontypool is seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join their additional learning needs support team. You will collaborate with the class teacher to help each child access learning in a caring environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a genuine commitment to fostering the development of all pupils. This is a permanent position for 31 hours per week during term time.
Permanent post (To be based in progression step 2 & 3 this academic year) 31 Hours per week, 39 Weeks per year New Inn Primary is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly skilled and resilient teaching assistant to join our additional learning needs support team.
You will work closely with the class teacher and ALN team to ensure every child can access learning in a safe, nurturing environment.
The successful candidate will need to be committed to helping each child achieve their full potential and should also be sensitive to the needs of all our children.
You will need to have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as genuine commitment to the overall care and development of all pupils.
