Nursery Practitioner – Sandwell

Location: Sandwell, West Midlands
Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.10 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Temporary opportunities available

We’re seeking Level 2 qualified Early Years Practitioners to join warm, supportive nursery teams dedicated to providing exceptional care and education for young children.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll help create a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment where every child can thrive. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you’ll support the delivery of engaging activities that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and build confidence in each child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the daily running of the nursery in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Contribute to a fun, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
  • Assist with feeding, changing, and ensuring children’s wellbeing at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Requirements
  • Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a UK nursery or early years setting
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and growth
  • Positive, reliable, and proactive attitude
