Job summary

Draken Bournemouth seeks an NDT Technician - Level 2 to join our Engineering Team. You will perform NDT tasks under supervision, supporting Level 3 and the Aircraft Maintenance Manager to uphold safety, quality and regulatory standards in a demanding aviation maintenance environment.

We value rigorous adherence to procedures, willingness to travel to remote sites when required, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in NDT processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in NDT within aircraft maintenance.
• Certification to PCN/AERO, EN9712 Level 2, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of EC/UT inspection methods and aerospace product knowledge.
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain NDT across aircraft maintenance operations.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance of NDT activities.
• Support NDT Level 3 and AMM in daily tasks and on-call needs.
• Assist with away-from-base inspections and defect assessments as required.
• Maintain documentation for NDT activities and ensure timely reporting.
• Coordinate with other engineering activities to meet targets and budgets.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
