A fantastic opportunity has become available for a caring and enthusiastic Level 2/Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, welcoming early years setting in Colchester. This is a part-time position with flexible hours across Monday to Friday, making it ideal for candidates who need a role that fits around other commitments. The role starts on a temporary basis, but if you re looking for something long-term, the nursery is very happy to consider a permanent position for the right person.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment for children aged 0 5
• Supporting and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS
• Observing, recording and contributing to children s learning and development
• Building warm and positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Supporting children s personal, social and emotional development
• Ensuring safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures are followed
• Working as part of a supportive, friendly and collaborative team
