Job summary

Keep Education in Luton is recruiting Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Nurses to support early years settings. You will plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, assist with meals, hygiene and rest, observe children's development, and help create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes physical, emotional, social and intellectual growth.

Candidates with Level 2/3 Diploma, EYFS knowledge and an enhanced DBS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Care and Education (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
• Up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences.
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest.
• Observe and monitor children’s development and report progress.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.
• Promote positive behaviour and support social and emotional development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management.
