Job Description

Our client is a distinguished environmental company that delivers specialised services and advice to a nationwide client base. They are looking to recruit a hardworking, versatile and committed LEV Engineer based in and around the Preston area. The successful candidate will hold the P601 LEV certificate and will have extensive experience carrying out testing, installation and maintenance of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems. Previous experience undertaking cleanroom validations will also be advantageous. Applications from Blackburn, Chorley, Kirkham, Southport and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Hold a minimum of the P601 certificate.
  • Experience carrying out testing, installation and maintenance of L.E.V. systems.
  • Experience working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards.
  • Experience carrying out cleanroom validations would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record of producing technical service reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.
Key Duties
  • Carry out local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validations and maintenance on a varied site base.
  • Testing emissions, reviewing and approving assessments.
  • Accurately collate and produce technical reports.
  • Provide consultancy service to clients and technical advice on reports and further services.
  • Undertake fume cupboard examinations.
  • Carry out cleanroom validations.
  • Visit sites as required by the client.
  • Approach and find solutions to issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
  • Present on occupational hygiene to staff, company and contractors.
  • Build and maintain good rapport with clients.
