Job summary

A leading compliance and environmental services firm is seeking a knowledgeable LEV Engineer to cover client sites across the South Central and South West of England. The role involves undertaking examinations of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems, emissions testing, client communication, and producing technical reports. Applicants must hold the BOHS P601 qualification and have a strong background in LEV engineering. Competitive salaries and excellent cross-training opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake thorough examinations of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems.
  • Conduct emissions and indoor air quality testing.
  • Work on dust and fume extraction systems.
  • Test fume cupboards.
  • Replace components such as belts, blades, motors and filters.
  • Identify system errors and recommend replacements/repairs.
  • Produce thorough technical reports.
  • Meet clients to communicate results and answer technical queries.
  • Foster positive client relationships.
  • Work across a range of sites including manufacturing and industrial.

Due to recent company expansion, our client is seeking a knowledgeable LEV Engineer to cover client sites across the South Central and South West of England. Applicants will be expected to hit the ground running, so it is essential that applicants can confidently undertake LEV examination and service works. Experience / Qualifications
  • Strong experience working as an LEV Engineer within a well-established outfit
  • Must hold the BOHS P601 qualification
  • Robust technical knowledge, including: COSHH and HSG 258 guidelines
  • Flexible and hardworking attitude
  • IT Proficient
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
