Job description

My client is seeking a proactive and professional Lettings Negotiator to join their dynamic property team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the rental process from listing to move–in, ensuring both landlords and tenants receive excellent service. This is a target–driven role that requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in the property market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Marketing:
  • List rental properties on online portals and agency platforms.
  • Prepare marketing materials and ensure all listings are accurate and appealing.
  • Client Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to landlords.
  • Handle inbound enquiries and qualify prospective tenants.
  • Viewings and Negotiation:
  • Arrange and conduct property viewings.
  • Negotiate rental terms between landlords and tenants.
  • Secure tenancy agreements in line with client expectations and legal compliance.
  • Referencing and Compliance:
  • Collect references.
  • Ensure all documents and checks (e.g., Right to Rent, deposit registration) are completed correctly.
  • Administration:
  • Prepare tenancy agreements and associated paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate records using CRM/property management systems.
  • Team Contribution:
  • Meet personal and team targets.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in sales, management, and property management.
