Lettings Co‑ordinator

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00‑17:00 | Salary: £24,000‑£26,000 (DOE) | Location: Leicester

The Lettings Co‑ordinator role in a nutshell:

Be the engine room for our lettings function—qualifying applicants, coordinating viewings, keeping the paperwork watertight, and supporting smooth move‑ins. You’ll fit if you’ve previously worked in lettings support, bringing a calm, methodical, proactive approach to first‑time‑right placements.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Arrange and carry out check‑outs: collect keys, assess property condition, and complete meter readings.
  • Document everything thoroughly (photos and/or reports) and update our property management system.
  • Coordinate any required maintenance and, where needed, negotiate with tenants.
  • Use our property software to liaise with prospective tenants and pre‑qualify enquiries.
  • Respond promptly to the company inbox.
  • Schedule, confirm, and professionally conduct viewings.
  • Ensure each applicant completes the correct terms of business and submits appropriate ID.
  • Manage the referencing process end‑to‑end to keep turnaround times tight.
  • Produce detailed inventories using our company app.
  • Organise six‑monthly property inspections.
  • Record findings in the software and drive any maintenance actions that arise.
  • Own your diary and keep it up to date.
  • Handle calls and emails professionally.
  • Bring flexibility and a “muck‑in” attitude, help wherever the day needs you.
What you’ll need:
  • Your own vehicle (essential).
  • Previous lettings agency experience (essential).
