A well-known independent property agency in Bromsgrove is seeking a Lettings Accounts Assistant / Administrator. The role involves overseeing invoicing, calculating charges, and managing accounts for block management. This position offers a salary of up to £28k based on experience, with full-time working hours from Monday to Friday.

  • Oversee raising Service Charge and Ground Rent invoices.
  • Calculate and set up monthly Direct Debits for customers.
  • Chase outstanding debts in accordance with the lease.
  • Calculate water, gas and electricity charges.
  • Oversee payments of contractor invoices.
  • Prepare year-end accounts.

Lettings Accounts Assistant / Administrator (Block Management) - Bromsgrove - up to £28k dependent on experience

My client is a long established independent Lettings and Estate Agency brand with several offices around the Worcestershire / West Midlands area. Due to increased lettings business, they are looking to recruit a permanent Full Time Lettings Accounts Assistant / Administrator to join their Block Management team based in Bromsgrove.

Main Duties for the Lettings Accounts Assistant / Administrator Role:
  • Overseeing raising Service Charge and Ground Rent invoicesCalculating and setting up monthly Direct Debits for customersOverseeing chasing of outstanding debts in accordance with the lease
  • Calculating water, gas and electricity charges where necessary
  • Overseeing contractor invoices are being paid
  • Calculating and raising management fees for all sites
  • Calculating and handling all VAT registered sites.
  • Preparation of year end accounts
  • Calculating voids and dealing with Freeholder and Lessee queries
