A local council in Wakefield is seeking a Leisure Support Assistant to create safe and engaging environments for physical activities. This role involves setting up sports equipment, maintaining facilities, and providing customer service. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, good physical fitness, and flexibility in hours. The role is casual, allowing you to select your shifts around other commitments.
Join our dynamic Sport and Health Improvement team as a Leisure Support Assistant and be at the heart of creating safe, engaging, and positive environments for the public to enjoy physical activities. Based at Thornes Park Stadium, you will assist our team setup a variety of sports equipment whilst keeping the building safe and tidy. From time to time, you will be asked to cover other departments so this really is a varied role.
The role of a casual staff means you will have the ability to choose shifts or work when it suits you, enabling you to work around other commitments.
