Are You Ready to Make a Difference in Your Community?

Join our dynamic Sport and Health Improvement team as a Leisure Support Assistant and be at the heart of creating safe, engaging, and positive environments for the public to enjoy physical activities. Based at Thornes Park Stadium, you will assist our team setup a variety of sports equipment whilst keeping the building safe and tidy. From time to time, you will be asked to cover other departments so this really is a varied role.

The role of a casual staff means you will have the ability to choose shifts or work when it suits you, enabling you to work around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and take down sports equipment for various activities and events.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of leisure facilities, including both indoor and outdoor areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assisting users with inquiries and ensuring their safety.
  • Support and contribute to the overall goals of the Sport and Health Improvement team, working flexibly across different sites as needed.
