Job summary

Village Hotels is opening a brand-new Sheffield hotel in early February 2027 and seeking a dedicated Leisure Cleaner to join the team from January 2027 for onboarding and club setup. You will help maintain spotless facilities across changing rooms, gym areas, studios, and reception, contributing to an impeccable guest experience.

We value energy, work ethic, and a commitment to high hygiene standards. Training and COSHH certifications will be provided to support your growth and success.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene standards consistently.
• Energetic, reliable, and able to work physically.

Responsibilities

• Clean changing rooms, gym floors, studios, and shower areas.
• Keep lobby and reception areas spotless and well-presented.

A Brand-New Opening: Join Us in Sheffield!

Exciting news - Village is expanding! We are opening a brand-new hotel in Sheffield in Early February 2027. To ensure everything runs seamlessly and looks spotless from day one, we are looking for dedicated team members to join us in January 2027 for full onboarding, training, and club setup before we officially open our doors!

Your Shift: What You’ll Actually Be Doing

As our Hygiene Hero, we trust you to handle:

• Immaculate Standards: Carrying out routine, deep, and periodic cleaning across changing rooms, vanity units, toilets, showers, gym floors, studios, and corridors.




• Hands-On Operations: Operating specialised equipment safely (floor scrubbers, wet vacuoms, steam cleaners) and mastering chemical safety (COSHH) guidelines.




• Stock & Presentation: Keeping sanitising stations, towels, soaps, and hand gels fully stocked so our members always have what they need.




• Keen Eye for Detail: Conducting routine hygiene inspections and immediately flagging any wear, tear, or equipment issues to management to keep the club safe and operational.




• A Warm Presence: Assisting members and guests in a friendly, courteous manner while respecting their privacy at all times.
