Overview

Millfield School seeks casual Leisure Attendants to provide lifeguard cover in our pools during peak hours, particularly late afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Key Traits and Qualifications

We are looking for confident and communicative individuals who have a valid NPLQ certificate. Preferred candidates will have experience in lifeguarding or the leisure/customer service sector, though this is not mandatory.

Flexibility & Shift Requirements

Flexibility is essential, as the role entails varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Lifeguarding at both Millfield Senior Pool and Millfield Prep Pool, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations, codes of practice, and operational protocols to safeguard all users.
• Supervision of the Cricket Centre and Golf Centre.

Contract & Pay

This is a zero‑hour contract working predominantly evenings and weekends. The role requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, dependant on our pool bookings.

Rate of pay: £11.44 per hour plus statutory holiday pay (applicants aged 21 and over will receive £12.21 per hour).
