Job summary

Dalkia Energy Services Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks a Legionella Risk Assessor to carry out compliance-focused risk assessments across domestic, commercial and industrial water systems. You will generate detailed reports, create system diagrams, and advise clients on corrective actions to ensure safe water management.

The role requires qualification in Legionella risk assessment, a full UK driving licence, and at least 2 years' hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (e.g. City and Guilds, BOHS, WMSoc or similar).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• At least 2 years' experience carrying out Legionella risk assessments.
• Good knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, BS 8580-1, Water Supply Rules, HTM 04-01 (preferred).
• Ability to read water system diagrams.
• Excellent report-writing skills.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and mobile reporting systems.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work alone and manage workload well.
• Water sampling and temperature checking experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella risk assessments on hot and cold-water systems.
• Check water storage tanks, heaters, pipes, outlets, spa pools, and related equipment.
• Find risk factors.
• Review existing Legionella management procedures and records.
• Create clear, accurate, and compliant risk assessment reports.
• Make and update diagrams of water systems.
• Rank findings and provide practical suggestions for corrective actions.
• Communicate professionally with clients, facilities managers, engineers and contractors.
• Represent the company professionally at client meetings.
• Follow company Health and Safety procedures.
