Profile

Our client is a rapidly expanding Water Hygiene company who have a mixed portfolio of longstanding clients. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a competent and hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Leeds area. You will be responsible for carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8 alongside Cleaning and Disinfections on hot and Cold‑Water systems, and routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.

Consideration

Consideration will be given to candidates with good access to the M62 and the following areas: Castleford, Pontefract, Wakefield, Halifax, Huddersfield, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Bolton Stockport, Ligh, Warrington, Widnes, St Helens, Liverpool.

Experience & Qualifications

• Hands on experience working in the Water Treatment / Legionella industry, ideally working as a Legionella Risk Assessor and / or Water Hygiene Engineer is essential to the role.
• Will hold the City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Will be well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Confidently using PDA / Tablet systems.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Role

• Working on a mixed portfolio of sites, carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Completing schematic drawings and providing clients with final documents.
• Carrying out cleans and disinfections on both hot and cold‑water systems.
• Routine Water Sampling and Temperature Monitoring.
• Carrying out TMV Servicing, repairs, and replacements.
• Carrying out showerhead descales and disinfections.
• Producing detailed reports using PDA / Tablet system and ensuring onsite logbooks are kept up to date.
• Liaising with clients, continuing to build and maintain professional relationships.
