• Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.
• Compile schematic drawings and produce final documents for clients.
• Provide recommendations and prices for remedial works.
• Perform monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Survey water systems as per ACOP L8.
• Organise and prioritise work to meet specified time frames.
• Build and maintain good client relationships.
• Visit sites per client requirements.

Job description

Due to the acquisition of new contracts, this rapidly expanding water treatment/water hygiene company are actively seeking a competent, reliable and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in and around the Tunbridge Wells area. Applications from Tonbridge, Crowborough, East Grinstead and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ideally, the applicant must hold the City & Guilds, WMS certificate or any other relevant qualification.
• Extensive experience of legionella risk assessing.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Needs to be fully conversant with water industry Health & Safety legislation.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks:

• Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.
• Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
• Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
• Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
• Organising and prioritising work to ensure all work is carried out to time frame specified.
• Building and maintaining a good working relationship with clients.
• Visiting sites as per client’s requirements.
