Qualifications

The Role
  • Promote safe ways of working at all times
  • Supervise a team of Legionella risk assessors, providing leadership, guidance, and support
  • Conduct Legionella risk assessments in various premises, including but not limited to industrial, commercial, Health care and residential buildings
  • Review and evaluate Legionella risk assessment reports submitted by the team to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement Legionella control and management strategies based on assessment findings and best practices
What you’ll need
  • Certification as a Legionella Risk Assessor e.g., City & Guilds, is essential
  • In-depth knowledge of Legionella bacteria, associated health risks, and control measures
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Two years of experience in Legionella risk assessment and management (preferred)
  • One year in a supervisory or managerial role (preferred)
  • Full and valid driving licence
  • City & Guilds or NVQ level 2 or higher Plumbing (required)
  • ACOP L8, Water Regulations, COSHH and HSAWA (preferred)
  • Water Hygiene work history: one year (preferred)
