Here is an opportunity to join a growing medium sized water treatment/legionella company, who provide specialist services to clients throughout the UK. They are currently seeking a hard‑working, professional Legionella Risk Assessor to work on commercial and domestic sites based in and around the South East London area. The client prides themselves on developing and investing in their staff and is looking for somebody with a strong work history and experience working within the legionella industry. Applications from Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire, Surrey and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Will hold the City and Guilds or WMS Legionella risk assessment course.
• Must have a proven track record working as a legionella risk assessor within the water treatment/hygiene industry.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations governing these.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
• Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
• Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.
• Undertake monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Surveys of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
• Writing up accurate reports and attending meetings where required.
• Liaising with the company’s large portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
