Our client is a highly reputable water treatment company seeking a committed Legionella Risk Assessor based in the Reading area. The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and will possess excellent water treatment industry knowledge. Consideration will be given to applicants from Oxford, Didcot, Newbury and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications / Experience
  • Attended the City and Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment course or an equivalent WMS qualification.
  • Proven track record working as a legionella risk assessor within the water hygiene/water treatment industry.
  • Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Role Responsibilities
  • Conduct legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 across a varied site base.
  • Write reports and attend meetings to discuss findings.
  • Participate in the company’s legionella management systems.
  • Maintain good working relationships with clients, customers and staff.
  • Deal with problems promptly and effectively.
  • Prioritise workload and ensure work is completed within required timescales.
  • Travel to sites as per client requirements.
