Qualifications

• Experience in Legionella risk assessment in the water treatment sector.
• Completed Risk Assessment course or internal training.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella risk assessments in compliance with ACOP L8.
• Compile schematic drawings and final reports for clients.
• Provide recommendations and quotes for remedial works.
• Undertake remedial work based on assessments.
• Perform monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Survey water systems as per ACOP L8 standards.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients.

Skills

Our client is a well‑established name in the water treatment/water hygiene industry, providing professional and quality services to clients across the UK. Due to continued success they now need an experienced and competent Legionella Risk Assessor to work in and around the Liverpool area (apps from St Helens, Warrington, Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead and surrounding areas will be considered).

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Attendance of an approved Risk Assessment course (City & Guilds, WMS) or completion of internal training courses.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office package.
• Good working knowledge of water industry regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8.
• Compile schematic drawings and produce final documents and reports required by clients.
• Provide recommendations and quotations for remedial works.
• Undertake remedial work based on the risk assessments.
• Perform monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Survey water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
