Our client is a fast growing water treatment/water hygiene company providing a comprehensive range of water treatment services and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to work for them in and around the Lancaster area. The ideal candidate will come from a strong water hygiene background and will be experienced in carrying out legionella risk assessments on a range of site and contract types. Consideration will be given to applications from Morecambe, Preston, Blackpool and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate or relevant qualification
• Experience carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP – L8
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fully conversant with Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package

Key Tasks

• Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8
• Compile schematic drawings and final documents – prepare and produce reports for clients
• Provide recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through quotations and carry out works based on risk assessments
• Organise and prioritise work
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with clients/customers
