Job Description

Our client, a well‑established multi‑disciplined consultancy with a nationwide presence, is currently seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their busy workforce in and around the Inverness area. Undertaking duties such as legionella risk assessments following ACOP L8, providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, and carrying out works based on the risk assessments. Applications from Dalroy, Inshes Wood, Leachkin and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Attended relevant Risk Assessment course – City & Guilds or attended internal training courses.
• Extensive experience working within this role – carrying out Legionella risk assessments within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office package.

Role

• Undertake Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8.
• Compile schematic drawings and produce final documents.
• Provide recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures to quotations, and carry out such works based on the risk assessments.
• Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Carry out surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
• Collate and produce accurate reports.
• Build strong working relationships with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
