Responsibilities

• Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments per ACOP L8.
• Compiling schematic drawings and final documents.
• Providing remedial work recommendations and quotations.
• Performing monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Surveying water systems according to regulations.
• Producing comprehensive reports.
• Liaising regularly with clients.

Job description

Our client, a well-established name within the water hygiene/legionella industry is currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Legionella Risk Assessor based in the Exeter area to work on a wide range of contracts. Applications will be considered from Exmouth, Crediton, Surbiton, Brixham and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ideally the applicant must have attended a Risk Assessment training course either City & Guilds or attended internal training course(s).
• Experience working in this role within the water treatment/water hygiene industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
• Must be fully conversant with the water treatment/water hygiene industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments in line with ACOP L8 risk assessments.
• Compiling schematic drawings and producing final documents for clients.
• Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measures through to quotations, and carrying out work based on the risk assessments.
• Monthly temperature testing and water sampling.
• Surveying of water systems and supplies as per ACOP L8.
• Collating and producing comprehensive reports.
• Attending meetings with clients when required.
• Liaising with clients/customers on a regular basis.
