Profile

A leading Legionella consultancy, with a strong presence across the South East and London, is now seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant based in and around the Guildford area. The ideal candidate will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessment and will have extensive experience carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on a mixed portfolio of sites as well as providing clients with detailed technical advice on further works to be carried out.

Applications will be considered from: Basingstoke, Farnborough, Aldershot, Camberly, Woking, Winchester, Bracknell, Reading, Epsom, Slough, Windsor, Crawley, Horley.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will have extensive experience working with in the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry for an established company.
• Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessment.
• Will have excellent communication skills and will be competent in report writing.
• Will have excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8/ HSG/ HTM0401 guidelines.

The Role

• Carrying out detailed and in depth Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot/cold water systems as well as some larger process/cooling systems in line with HSG, ACOP L8 and HTM0401 guidelines.
• Managing own schedule and arranging site visits across Healthcare, Heavy Industry and Blue Chip client sites.
• Arranging write up days within the working week and producing comprehensive reports for clients.
• Attending meetings and delivering consultancy advice, as well as delivering external training.
• Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
