Job Description: Our client is an established multi‑discipline environmental consultancy with a national presence. They are looking to recruit a hard‑working Legionella Risk Assessor / Consultant based in and around Birmingham. The successful candidate will manage their own client portfolio, carrying out risk assessments on domestic hot and cold‑water systems and complex cooling water systems. Attractive salary, company car, above‑average holiday, private healthcare and a commitment to further training are available.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in the Legionella industry with an established company, following HTM‑0401 / HSG274 / ACOP L8 guidelines.
  • Qualified with City & Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
The Role
  • Undertake in‑depth Legionella risk assessments for healthcare, manufacturing, leisure, and education clients.
  • Produce detailed reports, ensuring clients understand findings and necessary remedial actions for ongoing compliance.
  • Deliver Legionella awareness training and train new staff as per company requirements.
  • Assist in developing the Legionella team and promote services to clients.
