Job description

Due to current state of the business, this medium sized water treatment/water hygiene company that provides professional water treatment services to clients is actively seeking the services of a competent, committed and hardworking home based Legionella Risk Assessor in Barnet and will include applications from Edgware, Cheshunt, Enfield, Watford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally, the applicant must hold the City & Guilds or WMS certificate or relevant qualification and must have the right level of legionella risk assessment experience that is carrying out legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP – L8 risk accreditation within the water treatment/water hygiene field.

Having hands on experience on water systems, eg., cooling towers would be beneficial.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft office package.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety legislation with regards to water services, legionella, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.

Compiling schematic drawings, as well as final documents – preparing and producing reports for clients within specified time scale.

Providing recommendations and prices for remedial works, routine control measure through quotations and carrying out such works based on the risk assessments.

Organizing and prioritizing workload and liaising with other team members to ensure all work is carried within time scale.

Liaising with the clients and dealing with any issues effectively.

Covering contracts as per client’s requirement.
