Job summary

Mitie Group plc in Yeovil is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our specialist water compliance team. You will perform Legionella Risk Assessments across varied client environments, producing reports and practical guidance to reduce risk and ensure compliance.

The role requires City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence with limited penalty points.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent).
• Proven experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments within water hygiene or compliance.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments to the highest professional and industry standards across a varied client portfolio.
• Produce accurate reports, schematic drawings and compliance documentation using digital reporting systems.
• Provide practical recommendations and technical guidance to support clients in reducing risk and maintaining compliance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and technical expertise.
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance while supporting a strong culture of safety and compliance.

Location: Yeovil (Mobile)
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 (aligned to capability, skills, experience and qualifications)

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments to the highest professional and industry standards across a varied client portfolio.
• Produce accurate reports, schematic drawings and compliance documentation using digital reporting systems.
• Provide practical recommendations and technical guidance to support clients in reducing risk and maintaining compliance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery and technical expertise.
• Conduct assessments in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274, HSG282, BS8580-1:2019 and HTM 04-01 guidance while supporting a strong culture of safety and compliance.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:

• City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment qualification (or equivalent recognised industry qualification).
• Proven experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments within the water hygiene, water treatment or compliance sector.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
