Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor

Salary: Up to £36,000pa (Dependent on Experience) + Comprehensive Benefits Package

Location: West Midlands (UK Travel Required)

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Due to the nature of the role, the ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance checks is a mandatory requirement and sponsorship is unavailable.

This pivotal role involves undertaking critical risk assessments and audits for complex water systems across the UK, ensuring the safety and compliance of their diverse client base in infrastructure and industry. Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake Legionella risk assessment of various water systems.
  • Conduct audits of management and planned preventative monitoring regimes (Written Scheme Audits).
  • Perform general water hygiene tasks, including water outlet flushing, temperature checks, and sampling.
  • Generate competent, detailed reports for clients and internal quality checks.
  • Work collaboratively and independently while managing travel requirements.
  • Effectively communicate technical findings to clients and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
  • City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment (or equivalent).
  • Working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS:8580.
  • Understanding of complex water systems, including water softeners, vehicle washes, and industrial processes.
  • Understanding of written scheme of control audits.
  • Strong ability to communicate with clients.
  • Competent report writing skills and proficiency in computer software (Word & Excel).
  • Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance checks.
