Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor.
Location: Southampton, South Central.
Salary / Benefits: £22k – £34k + Training + Benefits
Level of Experience: Trainee Legionella Risk Assessor through to Lead Legionella Risk Assessor

Profile: A multi-discipline and established Environmental Company covering Commercial, Domestic, and Industrial sites is looking for a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor based around Southampton. The successful candidate will hold an industry recognised Legionella Risk Assessing qualification and be confident working in line with ACoP L8 guidelines to carry out risk assessments alongside surveying client water systems and temperature monitoring.

Applications will be considered from: Fareham, Gosport, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Waterlooville, Chichester, Worthing, Horsham, Crawley, Horley, Guildford, Farnham.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Holding the City and Guilds (WMSoc) Legionella Risk Assessment qualification is essential.
• Present experience working within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry for an established company.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and competence using handheld PDA / Tablet systems.

The Role:

• Undertaking Legionella risk assessments in line with ACoP L8 guidelines on Commercial, Industrial and Domestic sites.
• Surveying client water systems, temperature monitoring, water sampling and analysis of water systems.
• Providing clients with detailed reports using PDA / Tablet systems and updating onsite logbooks.
• Continuing to build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients.
