A leading Water Hygiene company is seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor to conduct risk assessments on domestic hot and cold-water systems. This role involves reviewing existing assessments and completing reports using handheld devices, while ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will hold a City and Guilds / WMSoc qualification and have experience in the water hygiene industry.

Qualifications

  • Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in legionella Risk Assessment is essential.
  • Experience working within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, ideally as a risk assessor.
  • Excellent knowledge of Hot and Cold-water systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold systems.
  • Reviewing clients' existing risk assessments.
  • Producing and working from schematic drawings of hot and cold water services.
  • Using handheld PDA to complete reports.
  • Ensuring onsite logbooks are accurately filled out.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Location: Preston, Lancashire.

Salary / Benefits: £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

About the client

We work closely with a leading provider of Water Hygiene / Legionella services across the North of England. They are seeking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor. You will be covering Domestic and Commercial sites. You will be carrying out Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold-water systems, updating onsite logbooks and using handheld PDA to complete reports and ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Consideration

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Burnley, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Wigan, Bolton, St Helens, Liverpool, Manchester, Oldham, Stockport, Warrington, Macclesfield, Chester, Crewe, Birkenhead, Rochdale, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Holding the City and Guilds / WMSoc in legionella Risk Assessment is essential.
